Mass Intentions
May we remind you again, that we are fully booked for Mass Intentions until late January 2008. Therefore all intentions are being forwarded to the Divine Word Missionaries for the rest of this year, unless you specifically wish to have your Mass said in the Sacred Heart Church, in which case please mark your mass envelope clearly and it will be said as soon as possible in 2008.

Advent Service
Churches Together in Ruislip would like to invite you to begin Advent with a service at Ruislip Baptist Church (Manor Way) at 8.00 pm on Friday 30th November. Everyone is welcome to come along and join in.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Would like to thank everyone who generously donated warm winter clothing and footwear last weekend. The response was wonderful as usual and everything received was taken straight to a homeless shelter in central London on Sunday. The shelter asked us to pass on their thanks and gratitude to the Parish. We, in the SVP, would once again like to thank Andy Loughman for kindly providing his van and his time to transport the clothes.
New Carpet
The new carpet is now in place in the choir loft and hopefully the new chairs will be delivered.
200 Club
Congratulations to Peter Longhurst who won the November draw. It is not too late for the £400 Dec. draw. Pick up a letter for details. This will be drawn on Sunday 2nd Dec. after 10 am Mass and that weekend there will be a display in the coffee lounge about the Jubilee Trust and the projects we have helped.

Fr. Agustin writes: This last Sunday of the liturgical year invites us to look at the end of time itself and the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, King of all the Universe. The Church’s liturgy encourages us to look forward to this time with hope, far from fear and anxiety - Christians wait with joyful hope for the coming of our Saviour Jesus Christ. In fact, we recall that part of our Christian tradition is to actually long for the end of the world and the return of Christ in Glory. Christians have been waiting for the Lord since the earliest
times of the Church, crying at each Eucharist: Maranatha! come Lord Jesus, actively praying for that moment in which, as St. Paul says: The Lord will come and he will take us with him. Today, let us welcome into our hearts the King of all creation and let him rule over our lives
Welcome
This evening at 6.00 pm we welcome Bishop Alan Hopes who will celebrate Mass for all young adults in the western part of the Diocese.
