Twelfth Sunday of the Year
Fr. Agustin writes: : The readings on this Sunday are centred on the care and attention of the Lord, especially on his faithful people. In the Gospel, Jesus encourages the disciples to not fear and to have faith in God during times of uncertainty and anxiety. We are indeed worth more in God’s eyes than a whole flock of sparrows, none of which fall to the ground without God’s knowledge. Let us turn our eyes to God’s faithfulness, to his infinite power and constant care that in the uncertainty of today’s world he may free us from anxiety and give us faith, hope and love.

Open Evening at the new Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School
The Governing Body of Sacred Heart would like to invite any interested members of the parish to come and see the new school building on Wednesday 9th July between 7pm–9pm. Members of the Governing Body will be available to answer any questions along with our building consultants DHP who designed and managed the building of the school. Fr. Michael Johnston will bless a specially commissioned statue of ‘Mary and Child’ for our new chapel at 8pm. As you may have read the new school building will be officially opened by His Eminence Cardinal Cormac Murphy O’Connor on the 2nd July. Unfortunately, because of numbers, attendance will be by invitation only. Could visitors please enter the school grounds through our Safer Routes to School footpath via Ruislip Rugby Club. Parking will be available in the Rugby Club Car Park. Disabled parishioners may use the school car park via the front drive - the new school is fully accessible. We look forward to seeing many of you on the evening.

Altar Servers
Please collect your letter from the Sacristy as soon as possible; it contains important information as well as a copy of the new rota. Please take only the letter addressed to you and note that there is only one envelope per family but this contains letters for each server in the family. Finally, we are still looking for more volunteers to serve at the 10am Mass on Saturday morning.
Christmas Bazaar Committee Meeting – Thursday 3 July
We are currently looking for new people to join our Committee. We meet only a couple of times per year in the evening and your time is mostly required in November in preparation for the bazaar and on the day.
