Renew Programme

RENEW - So what do we actually DO?

If you commit yourself to RENEW you will:

PERSONALLY - Sharpen up your focus on the spiritual part of your life. We all have our own ways of doing this, but RENEW will help by setting some specific themes and offering new ways of exploring
these.
IN YOUR COMMUNITY - Come together as a community (i.e. in our parish pastoral areas). We will be coming together in these small groups to share our experience of the Sunday readings.

We will be asking:
"What does this reading mean to me?" "How is it relevant to my life at home, at work?" The programme
will offer support in leading these groups and in providing materials to stimulate discussion.
IN OUR PARISH - Come together as a parish. We already enjoy a rich and liturgical experience in
Ruislip - RENEW will help us confirm that it is a good experience for everyone. Through our parish
organisations we also have a catechetical and pastoral infrastructure in place. Again, in the later Seasons
of RENEW, we will come together as a parish to see if we need to fill any gaps, and revitalise and refresh
what we have

God our loving Father who made us your children in baptism, pour outon us afresh the gifts of your Holy Spirit.

Open our ears to hear your Word, open our hearts to you in prayer, That we may recieve with ever deeper faith the Bead of life

Strengthened through these gifts make us signs of your presence. To the world today.
